Whether it is the one-year Garden Design Diploma, led by James Aldridge, the six-month Planting Design Diploma, led by Nina Baxter, our online Construction Design Certificate, our in-person Certificate in Plantsmanship, or our programme of short courses, we provide you with the most up-to-date, professional garden design training.

The Advanced Diploma in Garden Design is awarded to graduates who have successfully completed the College’s Garden Design Diploma and Planting Design Diploma, along with one of our specialist certificate courses in either Construction Design or Plantsmanship. This prestigious qualification recognises the breadth and depth of study undertaken in the field of garden design and reflects the comprehensive and rigorous training graduates have undertaken over a number of years.  

Our main garden design classes take place at the world-famous Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Our programme of short courses is also delivered from here as well as other locations, including the Royal Horticultural Society’s Garden at Wisley in Surrey.
